Domestic Delivery (Australia)

We ship all shop orders from our Melbourne studio Monday through Friday. Orders placed before 12pm AEST on a business day are dispatched same day. Orders placed after 12pm or on weekends are dispatched the following business day.

Delivery Times by State

Standard estimated delivery times from dispatch: VIC metro 1–2 days, VIC regional 2–4 days, NSW/ACT/SA/QLD metro 2–4 days, WA/NT/TAS 3–6 days. Express is typically next-day to most metro areas.

Public holidays and peak periods (Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day) may add 1–2 business days. We'll notify you by email if your order is affected.

International Shipping

We ship to select countries internationally. Please note that international orders are limited to dried and preserved arrangements, candles, vases, and gifting items. Fresh flower orders are only available within Australia.

Customs & Import Duties

International orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes, and import fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are the buyer's responsibility and are not included in our pricing. We are unable to predict the exact amount, as it varies by country and order value. We recommend checking with your local customs office before ordering.

We declare all packages accurately and at full value on customs forms. We cannot mark orders as gifts or undervalue declarations.

Fresh Flower Orders

Fresh arrangements and bouquets are available for delivery within Australia only. All fresh orders are cut and arranged on the morning of dispatch to ensure maximum freshness. We do not ship fresh flowers on Fridays (to avoid weekend transit).

You'll receive care instructions with every fresh order. With proper care, arrangements typically last 5–10 days. Seasonal availability may mean we substitute one or two stems — we'll always maintain the style, palette, and intent of your arrangement.

How We Pack

Every order from Upbloom is packed by hand in our Melbourne studio. We use recycled kraft boxes, FSC-certified tissue paper, and plantable seed-paper care cards. No plastic fillers — ever. Fresh flowers travel in water-retaining floral foam or aqua picks to arrive hydrated.

Dried arrangements are wrapped in soft tissue and secured with biodegradable foam inserts to prevent movement in transit. Fragile items like vases are double-boxed.

Order Tracking

You'll receive a dispatch confirmation email with a tracking link as soon as your order is on its way. Tracking updates are provided by our carrier partners (Australia Post, CouriersPlease, and DHL for international). If you haven't received your tracking email within 2 business days of ordering, check your spam folder or contact us.

Returns & Exchanges

Non-perishable items (dried arrangements, vases, gifting)

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for non-perishable items in their original, unused condition and packaging. To initiate a return, email us at hello@upbloom.co with your order number and reason. We'll provide a prepaid return label for Australian orders. International customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

Once we receive and inspect the return, we'll issue a refund to your original payment method within 5–7 business days. We do not offer exchanges — simply return and re-order.

Fresh flowers & perishable items

Due to the perishable nature of fresh flowers, we do not accept returns or offer refunds on fresh arrangements unless the item arrives damaged or in poor condition (see below).

Sale & discounted items

All sale items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Damaged or Missing Orders

If your order arrives damaged, wilted beyond normal transit, or is missing items, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the damage and your order number. Email hello@upbloom.co — we'll arrange a replacement or full refund, no questions asked.

If your tracking shows delivered but you haven't received your order, contact us and we'll lodge an investigation with the carrier. Resolution typically takes 3–5 business days.
