We founded Upbloom because we believed florists were underestimating the power of restraint. Too often, "more" was the answer. We wanted to explore what happens when you say less.
Every arrangement we create starts with negative space. Every event we design begins with listening. We work from a place of considered simplicity — because the most beautiful things rarely shout.
Upbloom is for people who appreciate the difference between a flower selected and a flower arranged.
We use fewer stems with more intention. Space is not emptiness — it's part of the composition.
We work with what the season offers. Flowers grown in the right conditions are more beautiful and more ethical.
We don't use templates. Every event and every arrangement is designed from scratch, for its specific context.

We source from local and regional Australian growers wherever possible. We work seasonally, which keeps quality high and environmental impact low.
We've moved away from floral foam entirely. All our work uses mechanics that compost or can be reused. We're not perfect, but we're genuinely trying to do better.
